Norma J. Wieburg

Norma J. Wieburg, 88, of Danville, passed away at 11:45pm Thursday (December, 10th, 2015) at Hawthorne Manor. Born April 7th, 1927, in Humrick, Illinois, daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (Collier) Williams. Norma was formerly married to Andrew Charnisky, now deceased. Surviving, three grandchildren, Ron Harrier and Barbie Segal, both of Lafayette, IN, and Ian Galloway (Jennifer Chedister) of Chicago, IL; and three great grandchildren, Bria, Lainy, and Milo. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister (Carmen Sanders), niece (Pamela O'Bryant), and daughter (Jean Galloway). Norma was a graduate of Georgetown High School and Indiana University where she obtained her RN degree in nursing. She was a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association and Central Christian Church in Danville. She took pride in maintaining her household and working in her yard. Norma enjoyed attending dances and her high school reunions, crocheting, her late cat Skamper, and spending time with her family. Norma was very proud to be a great grandmother. A celebration of Norma's life will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Pastor Hank Anderson officiating.
