Norma 'Chris' Christine Tingley

Norma Christine 'Chris' Tingley, of Chrisman, IL passed on June 30, 2019 at Paris Community Hospital in Paris, IL. Chris was a resident at Pleasant Meadow Senior Living in Chrisman for six years. She was born December 8, 1944 in Oliver, IL, the daughter of Clarence E. and Dorothy {Low} Tingley, both deceased.

Chris is survived by her siblings, Clarene (Raymond) Myers of Chrisman, Wilma (Patrick O'Connor) of Noblesville, IN, Margaret Keller, Covington, IN, Betty Baldwin of Chrisman, Harry (Shirley)Tingley of Chrisman and Phillip (Patricia) Tingley of Paris, IL; sister-in-law Wanda S. Tingley of Chrisman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Carroll L. Tingley; infant brother, Raymond David Tingley; and two brothers-in-law, Mike Baldwin and Max E. Keller.

Chris was a member of the Chrisman Church of the Nazarene. Her hobbies were volunteering at the nursing home, bowling, puzzles, and attending church activities. She was an employee of Butler Specialty in Paris, IL, for many years and retired from Steel Grip, Inc. in Danville, Illinois.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chrisman Church of the Nazarene, 313 N. Pennsylvania St, Chrisman, at 11:00am, Friday, July 5, 2019, with Pastor Cory Swinderman officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Chrisman, IL. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, located at 200 E West St. assisted her family with arrangements.
