Norma Beauvois

Norma J. Beauvois, 68, of Oakwood, IL passed away on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at home. Norma was born April 3, 1946 the daughter of Jack and Esther Boyd. Norma will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert Beauvois; son, John Beauvois of farmer City; daughter, Jeanie Curry of Champaign; daughter, Jodi Lane of Oakwood; sister Louella Simmons of Danville; niece, Linda Gibson of Danville. In addition Norma will be missed by her grandchildren, Abani Lane of Oakwood and Jarad Beauvois of Oakwood; as well as two great-grandchildren Caidyn Killbury and Joyce Kilbury of Oakwood. Norma worked many years as a custodian at Oakwood High School and was well liked by faculty and staff and students. She then worked in the banking industry and retired from Midwest America Credit Union. Over the years Norma has enjoyed socializing with friends and family, going out to eat, watching cooking, crime and renovation television shows, shopping, getting her hair and nails done. Norma will be missed by all who loved and knew her as she was an inspiration to everyone A celebration of Normas life will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel, 105 East South Main Street, Oakwood, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Oakhill Cemetery in Danville.
