Nora Wright Andresen

Nora Evelyn Wright Andresen 98 of Danville passed away at 9:10 PM Sunday August 14, 2005 at Provena USMC Hospital. She was born with her twin sister Lora on August 7, 1907 in Danville the daughter of John and Ina Hedge Harris. Nora married Rotchen Wright in 1924 in Danville he preceded her in February of 1969 and later married Leo Andresen he preceded her in 1985. Surviving are three sons;Rotchen (Miriam Hollingsworth) Wright of Danville, Robert William (Susan) Wright of Key Largo FL, Gerald Jerry (Sally) Wright of Danville, seven grandchildren; Eldon (Geri) Wright of Danville, Melanie Miller of Danville, Dale (Janet) Wright of Galax Virginia, Gina Nance of Florida, Damon (Kim) Wright of Potomac, Daylon Enderson of Catlin, and Jennifer (J.J.) Lockwood of Catlin, also nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, special friends Bob and Carol Deck of Attica. She was preceded in death by her parents three sisters and one brother. In Noras early years she worked for Aberdeen Proving Ground during WWII and when she lived in Florida she worked at Bhatia beach front gifts shops for many years. Nora was a member of Park Temple Methodist Church in Fort Lauderdale Florida and attended the ST. James United Methodist church in Danville. She loved to travel and took many cruises over the years. Most of all being with her family and friends was important to her.
