Cayuga, Ind. -- Noble Lee Naylor, 84, of Cayuga, passed away at 6 a.m. EST Sunday(February 25, 2007) at his residence in Cayuga, Indiana. He was born June 10, 1922, in Cayuga, Indiana, the son of the late Earl and Coy Jones Naylor. He married Norah Lee Hughes on April 3, 1941 in Humrick, Illinois. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Bob(Vera)Naylor of Newport, Indiana and Dennis R.(Tammy)Naylor, Sr. of Cayuga, Indiana; one daughter, Angela S.(Larry)Wangler of Eugene, Indiana; six grandchildren, Lindsie(Neil)Bowman of Kingman, Indiana, Terry(Terra)Naylor of Clinton, Indiana, Dennis(Jami)Naylor, Jr. of Perrysville, Indiana, Trisha(Bryon)Newman of Cayuga, Indiana, Caleb and Joshua Belser of Eugene, Indiana; eight great grandchildren, Cole, Kinlie and Coy Jo Bowman; Zachery Wayne, Trey Alan and Landon Reece Naylor and Evan Ray and Callie Marie Naylor; one sister, Dovie Hartman of Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his infant twins, Max and Maxine; one sister, Mae Hartman and one brother, Earl Naylor. Noble was a retired farmer. He was a school bus driver for twenty one years for the North Vermillion School Corporation retiring in 1984. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving with the United States Army reaching the rank of Technician Fifth Grade as a cook. He attended the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau Association. Funeral services: 10 a.m. EST Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating:Rev. Harold Canaday and Pastor Gary Farris; Burial: Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EST Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the funeral home.
