Nina M. Scott, 85, of Danville, passed away at 1:40PM Sunday April 16; 2006 at Colonial Manor. She was born March 20, 1921 in Marceline, Missouri, the daughter of the late George S. and Bernice M. (Still) Teeter. Nina married Buford F. Scott on December 21, 1941 in Salisbury, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2000. She is survived by one son Randy Lee (Linda) Scott, one daughter, Terri Lea (Richard) Dickens, both of Danville, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, one sister, Nadine B. Davault of Kansas City, Missouri, and three special friends, Mickey Bailey, Joann Schingel, and Don Crowder, all of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Sherry Lynn James, and one brother, Jack Teeter. Nina attended Grape Creek Baptist Church. She retired from the Danville Veterans Administration Hospital with 14 years of service in the dietary department. She enjoyed reading, being with friends, and eating out. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
