Nickey 'Nick' R. Lewis

Newport, Ind. - Nickey "Nick" R. Lewis, 64, of Newport, passed away at Noon on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

He was born May 5, 1953 in Clinton, Indiana, the son of the late Bill L. and Rhita Jane (Waddy) Lewis.

Survivors include his children: Amber Lewis of Clinton, Indiana; Halee (Timothy) Flowers of Danville, Illinois and Clint (Amy) Lewis of Whitestown, Indiana; four grandchildren and one sister, Geri (Joe) Mock of Dana, Indiana.

Nick was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Lee Lewis.

Nick was retired from General Motors in Janesville, Wisconsin. He was a 1971 graduate of North Vermillion High School. Nick was a member of the Newport Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, riding his golf cart, watching Si-Fi movies and the Green Bay Packers. Nick also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
