Nevada 'Lucille' Hobbs

Lucille Hobbs, 87, of Danville went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2008 at Danville Care Center South. Lucille was born July 31, 1920 in Danville daughter of Curtis and Bessie Robinson. She is survived by sisters: Alta Powell, Dorothy (Norman) Edinger, Barbara Zumwalt, Shirley Reffett, Ann Nixon all of Danville; Betty (Don) Duffy of Florida, and sister-in-law Barbara Robinson, and Beverly Hobbs, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister. Lucille was a very loving person and enjoyed listening to and singing gospel songs. She had attended different churches in the Danville area. A Celebration of Lucilles Life will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 3, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL with Pastor J.T. Riggs officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery West of Danville.
