Nettie Ruth Branch

Danville, Ill. - Nettie Ruth Branch, 86, of Danville, passed away at 9:30 p.m. CDT Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Arcadia Care in Danville, Illinois.

She was born August 20, 1933 in Burkburnett, Texas, the daughter of the late

Vartamin and Nettie (Hargrove) McCurdy.

Survivors include her children, Debra (Tommy) Dobbs of Cayuga, Indiana; Carla (Dennis) Naylor of Dana, Indiana and Leslie Blakely (LaDonna) Boyles, Jr. of Cayuga, Indiana; nine grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; two son-in-laws: David Holycross of Cayuga, Indiana and Mark Cheuvront of Westville, Illinois; three sisters: June, Hilda and Elsie, and two brothers: Harmon and Dean.

Nettie was preceded in death by her daughter: Jennie Marie McDaniel, and son: James Michael Johnson.

Nettie was a retired Children's Daycare Operator in the Tilton and Danville area. She was of Baptist Faith, and enjoyed bingo, playing cards, fishing and spending time with her family.

Visitation with social distancing guidelines: Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 1 to 3 p.m. EDT at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Cremation will follow with inurnment of cremains to be held at a later date at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana.
