Nellie M Riggle

DANVILLE - Nellie M. Riggle, 60, of Danville, passed away at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Provena USMC. She was born on December 24, 1945 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Bert and Bessie (Wombles) Phillips. She married Raymond L. Riggle on August 18, 1979 in Champaign, IL. He survives. Also surviving: one son, Jerry Dean Ricketts of Danville, IL; three sisters, Joan Sims of FL, Mary Boyd of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Rosalie Collom of Danville; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sons. Nellie enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing cards. She also loved listening to country music and dancing. A celebration of Nellies life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2005 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home located at 200 E West Street in Georgetown. Officiating: Pastor Garry Farris. Burial: Lithuanian National Cemetery in Westville. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday December 30, 2005 at the funeral home.
