Nellie M. Howe

Nellie M. Howe 85, of Georgetown passed away at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday November 17, 2010 at her home. She was born on September 2, 1925 in Georgetown the daughter of Guy and Pearl {Delaney} Rosnett. She was untied in marriage to Norman Howe on January 26, 1946 in Danville until his passing on October 4, 1979. Those who will miss her include: her children, Garry (Patricia) Howe of Georgetown, Steve (Tammy) Howe of Lewisburg, TN, Lynn Duncan of Elmwood, NE, and Cathy (Dave) Kostal of Bloomington, IL; her six grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Her parents and eleven bothers and sisters preceded her in death. Nellie worked at the former General Electric Plant in Danville for 12 years. She attended Vermilion Grove Friends Church. She also enjoyed fishing, sightseeing and watching the deer at Forest Glenn, as well as, working on word search puzzles. A celebration of Nellies life will be held graveside at 1:00pm, Saturday November 20, 2010, at the Georgetown Cemetery with Pastor Jim Walker officiating. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel, a Life Celebration Home, of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
