Nellie Arnaboldi

Nellie Arnaboldi, 85, of Danville, passed away at 3:40p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1921 in New York City, New York, the daughter of the late James and Phyllis Gardofalo. Nellie married Anthony Arnaboldi on January 29, 1936, in Hoboken, New Jersey. They shared a blessed marriage for 69 years. Nellie is survived by her husband, one son, Dennis A. (Margaret) Arnaboldi of Queens, New York, one daughter, Marie B. Burke of Indiana, one grandson, Paul Michael Arnaboldi of Queens, New York, and one brother, Sonny Gardofalo of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and four sisters. She was a homemaker. Nellie enjoyed reading and was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial for Nellie Arnaboldi will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday October 13, 2006 at St. Pauls Catholic Church with Reverend Ted Pracz officiating. Burial will be at Danville National Cemetery.
