Nelda F. Pasley

Lehigh Acres, Florida - Nelda F. Pasley, 90, of Lehigh Acres and formerly of Dana, Indiana, passed away at 10 a.m. EDT Friday, October 2, 2015 at Gulf Coast Regional Hospital in Ft. Myers, Florida. Nelda was born July 21, 1925 in Colfax, Illinois, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maye Grider Glass. She married Robert D. Pasley on November 21, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2010. Survivors include one daughter, Wanda M.(William)Linton of Lehigh Acres, Florida; two sons, Joseph Pasley of Rockville, Indiana and Michael(Donna)Pasley of Westville, Illinois; brother, Wayne Glass of Henryville, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Karla Pasley of Cayuga, Indiana; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Nelda was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Margaret Ann; son, Mark Pasley; two sisters; two brothers and great grandson, Jacob Ellis. Nelda was a homemaker and would help her husband on the family farm. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, oil painting and tat work. Memorial services: 10 a.m. EDT Saturday, October 17, 2015 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Kevin Wildman.
