Natalie Marie (Stuebe) Powell

Natalie Marie (Stuebe) Powell, 78, of Danville, IL passed away on January 15, 2026 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, IL at 7:20 PM.

Natalie was born on July 9, 1947 the daughter of Arthur and Hertha (Hacker) Stuebe in Danville, IL. She married Harry “Sonny” Robert Powell on March 4, 1980 in Danville, IL and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2017.

Survivors include her children, Joe (Tammy) Benson of Westville, IL, Kevin (Donnette) Benson of Kingsland, GA, Rob Powell of Sidell, IL, Tammy Moore of Danville, IL and Tina (Rob) Johnson of Danville, IL, siblings, Tom (Sarah) Stuebe of Littleton, CO and John (Arletta) Stuebe of Park Ridge, IL as well as fourteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Natalie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry “Sonny” Robert Powell, 2 sons, Jeffrey Benson and Steven Benson and one brother, William Stuebe.

Natalie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Eunice Society and assisted with Bethany the Comfort Dog. She retired from Danville Metal Stamping. After retirement, Natalie loved working as a Teachers Aide in Danville District 118 with the Special Needs Students. In her younger years she was a manager for softball and enjoyed bowling.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois, 61832. Pastor Kent Tibben will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Danville, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 from 9-11:00 AM at the church.

Memorials may be made in Natalie’s memory to Bethany the Comfort Dog or Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville, IL.
