Nancy Sue Sutton

Nancy Sue {Newman} Sutton, 64, of Tilton, passed away at 4:35pm, Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Provena USMC, Danville. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Mary Louise Newman in Crawfordsville, Indiana, on August 23, 1948. She was wed to Frank Sutton on June 30, 1984, in New Orleans, LA. He survives. She is also survived by: her father, Joseph A. Newman of Danville; her son, Frank Paul Joseph Sutton of Danville; her sister, Sharon N. (George) Waltman of Weaverville, NC; and many extended family including an aunt, uncles, many cousins, nephews, & nieces. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Mary Louise Newman; her grandparents, Joseph S. & Blanche Newman and Evan & Carrie Tinsely. Nancy was raised in Hillsboro, IN, and graduated from Fountain Central High School. She was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed going fishing, crocheting and knitting. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-7pm, Monday, September 10, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to American Cancer Society.
