Nancy P. Jackson

Nancy Patricia Jackson, 85, of Flower Mound, TX passed away March 12, 2018. Born October 25, 1932 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Herschell Randall and Bernice Royalty Randall. Nancy "Patsy" is survived by her children, Timothy Jackson (Tiffanie) of Flower Mound, TX and Patrick Jackson of Los Angeles, CA. Five grandchildren Sara Stanke, Jennifer Jackson, Ben Jackson, Taylor Jackson, and Ella Jackson. She also has 6 great grandchildren and many relatives of the Randall and Royalty families. She loved all her family very much. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and special friend Joseph Buckman. Nancy taught 1st grade in Canton, Illinois School District 66 for 30 years. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and her Master's Degree from Bradley University. After retirement she relocated back to Danville, Illinois to be close to her beloved extended family many of whom still reside in Danville. As a teacher she loved the experience of knowledge and took great delight in helping her students learn and enjoy discovery. Her favorite pastime was reading and would read all types of books from the most whimsical fiction to the most serious nonfiction. She prided herself with being well informed in a diversity of subjects. A graveside service for family and friends will be held on July 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
