Nancy Noe

Nancy Lou Noe, 70, of Danville, passed away at 11:48 a.m. Sunday, February 25, 2007 at her home. Nancy was born on July 2, 1936, in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of Merle J. and Ruth Ellen (Brown) Walsh. She married Milan D. Noe on August 31, 1964 in Covington, Kentucky. He survives. She is also survived by her one daughter- Janissa Ellis of Danville; two brothers- David (Karen) Walsh of Ellenton, Florida and Steve Walsh of Fortville, Indiana; one sister- Beverly (Jack) Bassemer of Anderson, Indiana; two grandchildren- Zachery Tallman of Anchorage, Alaska and Caitlin Cutrone of Danville; and several nieces and nephews and very special friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; one son- Anthony Mark Lewark; two brothers- Jack and Dick Walsh; and one sister- Arlene Heady. Nancy graduated from Fortville High School in 1954. She worked at Western Electric in Indianapolis for the last 15 years. After working in Indianapolis, she worked for Dr. Anaclerios office in Danville, for three years. Nancy later worked at Elder Beerman for five years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville. Nancy loved to spend her time shopping, buying jewelry and cosmetics, going to garage sales, playing bingo and spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening at her home. She never met a stranger. Nancy was a member of the Beta Cappa Sorority in Fortville, Indiana. A memorial service for Nancy will be held at a later date in June, at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel in Fortville, Indiana. Burial will be held in the Gravel Lawn Cemetery following the service.
