Nancy Lee Roseman

Nancy Lee Roseman, 79, of Westville, passed away at 2:30am, Monday, October 24, 2016, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born the daughter of Albert and Lillie {Murphy} Roseman on February 20, 1937, in Danville, IL. She was married to Jerry Waterstradt; he survives. Nancy worked as an inspector at Quaker Oats for over 25 years and retired. She enjoyed crocheting and playing Euchre & Bingo. She was a practical joker and enjoyed shopping for a bargain at rummage sales. She was known to "see the treasure in second hand". Nancy also was a Roy Rodgers fan and loved to watch the Young & the Restless'. She will be remembered by many who knew and loved her. Those who will miss her include: her sons, Tim (Christine) English of Hoopeston & Mike English of Westville; her twelve grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her brothers, Charles "Butch" (Carla) Roseman of Westville & Michael (KK) Mullins of Georgetown; her sisters, Edith "Hooty" English of Georgetown, Janice Harden of Danville, Julie (Mark) Cramer of Georgetown, & Linda (Dennis) Davidson of Georgetown; and her several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her sister, Charlene Guiliani; her brother, Vernon Roseman; her grandson, Adam English; and husband, Homer English. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, October 31, 2016, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be held 2pm-4pm, Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Forest Park Cemetery, Georgetown.
