Nancy Lee Razmus (nee Davis) passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 16th at 4:27 pm surrounded by her family that loved her.
In August 1957, she married Charles (Chuck) Razmus at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Westville, IL and later had two sons, John and Joe, whom they both loved very much. Joe married Theresa Vandee in April 1979. Together they had 4 children, Heidi (Chris) Downey, Tenley (Justin) Ott, Kasey Razmus and Joe Razmus Jr. and loved Molly Summers and Heather Razmus as their own children. She also loved Jamie Martin as her own granddaughter. Between her grandchildren she had 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Nancy retired from the Danville Police Department after proudly serving as Secretary to several Chiefs of Police through the years. She loved her career and the people she worked with and considered them like family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles "Chuck", her father Theodore "Ted" Davis, her mother Joanne Davis, her sister Linda Howard, and her great-granddaughter Caylee Jo.
She is also survived by her brothers Ted (Wanda) Davis and David (Patty) Davis.
Per her wishes there was a private graveside burial on Thursday, July 22nd at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. She was loved and cherished by her family and will be missed. May she rest in peace with her husband, her mother, and all those she loved that passed before her.
