Nancy L. Mellon

Nancy L. Mellon, 80, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2020 in Burlington, WI. Nancy was born in Danville on December 4, 1940, the daughter of James and Atha Moon.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Kyle (Susan) Mellon, Damon Mellon, Wade Mellon and grandchildren Brandon Mellon, Paige Mellon, Cameron Mellon, and Aylivia Mellon, and cousin Jim Kilbury.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Atha.

Nancy graduated from Westville High School in 1959. She was a social butterfly who enjoyed attending her childrens sporting events, dancing, and laughing. She loved spending time with her friends and family and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

A private celebration of Nancys life will take place at 10am on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. A public visitation will be held prior to the service from 9am to 10am at the funeral home. Nancy will be laid to rest at Gundy Cemetery following the service.
