Nancy L. Holycross

Cayuga, Ind. - Nancy L. Holycross, 83, of Cayuga and formerly of Silverwood, Indiana, passed away at 8:12 a.m. EDT Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana.

She was born July 26, 1935 in Georgetown, Illinois, the daughter of the late Robert and Florence (Billings) Aldrich.

Nancy married Dewey Holycross on October 21, 1950 in Cayuga, Indiana. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters: Patty (Sam) Mitton and Donna Walters both of Kingman, Indiana; son: David (Darla) Holycross of Hillsdale, Indiana; several beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother: Bob Aldrich of Tilton, Illinois and a host of special friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her sister: Dorothy Cook.

Nancy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mount Hermon Church in Howard, Indiana. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steel books, listening to her husband play music and spending time with her family.

Private graveside services were held at Hughes Cemetery in rural Perrysville, Indiana. Officiating: Thomas Sheppard. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
