Nancy K Ellison

Covington, Indiana; Nancy K Ellison, 66, of Covington, passed away at 1:50 am EDT on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Waters of Covington. She was born July 16, 1946 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of James E. and Helen Dettman McCoy. She married Donald Ellison on November 25, 1965 in Danville. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Deanna (Robert) Wise of Fountain Hills, Arizona; one sister, Sally (John) Nixon of Danville; two granddaughters, Katie and Courtney Wise, and one grandson, Brice Peyton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Danville High School. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville and a member of the American Quarter Horse. She enjoyed her horses, collecting dolls, playing the piano and organ, sewing, and crafts. A celebration of the life of Nancy Ellison will be held at 1:00 pm EDT on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Sunset's Covington Chapel, 420 3rd Street, Covington. Officiating: Rev. Michael Heidle. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery in Danville. Visitation of family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm EDT Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
