Nancy Jo Ellis

Nancy Jo Ellis went to her forever home April 6, 2016 at 2:30 PM after a long battle with AML Leukemia. Nancy was born November 28, 1948 to Mary K. Butts (Ellis) and Russell Bainbridge. They both preceded her in death. Nancy leaves behind a son, Brian K. Ellis; daughter Shelly Jo (Mickel) Taylor; three grandsons, Dustin, Billy and Mitchell of Altamont, IL; sisters, Karen (Gordon) Deck of Urbana, IL, Barbara (Brandt) Knop of Philo, IL; nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews; special friends, Patty Zimmerman of Altamont and Deb Meador of Tilton, IL. Nancy had many interests, but the most important aspect of her life was her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, Nancy requests that donations be made to the AML Foundation. Visitation 2 to 3 PM Saturday April 9, service following at 3 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Danville, IL. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakwood, IL.
