Nancy Alice Weidenburner

Danville - Nancy Alice Weidenburner, 78, of Danville passed away on August 9, 2020 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, IL.

Nancy was born on November 14, 1941 the daughter of Edmond M and Helen M (Norvell) Hewson in Three Rivers, MI. She married Robert Weidenburner on May 7, 1967 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2015.

Nancy is survived by five children, Kathy (Greg) Pulley of Honeapath, SC., Maggie (Dave) Haase of Ridgefarm, Robert E. (Penny) Weidenburner of Westville, Michael (Sheri) Weidenburner of Ogden and Rod Weidenburner of Tolono; seventeen grandchildren, Jason and Michael Cunningham, Nicki Estrada, Marlena Freund, Skyler, Charles, Sarah, Tanaya, Tyler, Aaron, Jennifer, Eddie, Jedeiah and Winnifred Weidenburner, Carlos Castillo, Gustavo and Alexis Zuniga, Justin Weidenburner and numerous other great grandchildren, as well as one brother, David (Sandy) Hewson and one sister, Marty Murphy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert and one son, Ray Weidenburner.

Nancys was a member of Calvary Baptist and worked in Real Estate for many years. She enjoyed spending her free time working on ceramics, crocheting, canning, and baking, especially decorative cakes.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 1632 Georgetown Road, Tilton, IL 61833. Pastor Dan Kitinoja will officiate. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 5-7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 and one hour prior to services at the church.

It is kindly requested that face masks be worn and social distancing is practiced by those in attendance of the visitation and or service.
