Nanci D. Utley

Dana, Ind. -- Nanci D. Utley, 57, of Dana, passed away at 4:11 p.m. EST Friday, March 4, 2011 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana. She was born September 14, 1953 in San Fernando, California, the daughter of the late Edward and Bernice Kahl Delmore. She married Robert W. Utley on June 14, 2003 in Schererville, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Emily Barr of Wheaton, Illinois; son, John Barr of Highland, Indiana; two stepsons, Mark Utley and Steven(Shawn)Utley both of Lowell, Indiana; two grandchildren; one sister and two brothers. Nance owned and operated Nanci's Catering in Newport, Indiana. She was a member of the North Vermillion Optimist Club. Nanci enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader. Nanci helped others by donating through the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization. There will be no services. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38148-0142.
