Nadine Norris

Nadine Norris, 74, of Danville passed away with family by her side on July 11, 2019. She was born in Bessemer, AL on April 5, 1945 the daughter of Robert Norris Sr. and the late Willie Mae (Kines) Norris.

She is preceded in death by her lifelong partner John Givens; her brothers, Billy Joe, Lester, Ronald, Donald, Melvin; sisters, Bettye and Vonda.

Nadine leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Herman (Peggy), George (Jean), Hermelia (Cecil), Robert Jr., Kevin, Dorothy; her four children Barry, Melody (Deon), Torkeshea (Gene), Navenia (Calvin Sr.); grandchildren, Melannie (Terry), Demetris (InShallen), Jasmine (J.J.), Nadine II, Bernard, Daquaan, Terrence Jr., Patricia (Paul), Calvin Jr., Marquise, Jayla as well as over thirty great-grandchildren and a host of friends, nieces and nephews.

Nadine enjoyed music, dancing and having a good time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am Friday July 19, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Clarence Rudolph.
