Myrtle Misch, 93, of Danville passed away on July 3, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on February 8, 1921 in Danville, the daughter of Harry and Eva (Pichon) Williams. She married Joseph Misch in Danville in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1982. Myrtle will be deeply missed by one son, John (Jane) Misch of Louisville, KY, one daughter, Judy (Patrick) Hartshorn of Danville, three grandchildren, Michael (Dawn) Hartshorn, Julie (Jeff) Henley, Michele (Jason) Rowthermund and one great grandchild, Ryan Hartshorn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Carl and Hershel Williams. Myrtle was a graduate of Oakwood High School and worked at General Electric in Danville until retiring in 1982. She was a member of the General Electric Danges club. She loved traveling and planting flowers around her yard. Visitation will be held for Myrtle on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Private graveside rites will be held at a later date at Oakhill Cemetery.
