MYRTLE LOUISE WEEZE BUTTS Myrtle Louise Weeze Butts, 61, of Danville, passed away after her battle with cancer at 9:40 a.m. Friday, March 18th, 2011 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Louise was born on November 18th, 1949 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Sully and Jurisha Carbone. She is survived by her cousins- Elmer and Dorothy Lowe of Phoenix, Arizona, Phyllis, Jennie and Brooklyn Flemings of Phoenix, Arizona, Les Corwin of Ridge Farm, Cassidy Corwin of Westville and Robin, Dustin, and Hope Jackson of Westville. She is also survived by her very special friends and neighbors- William, Phyllis and Billy Watson of Danville, John and Wilma Bush Hoover of Danville, Tina Brewer of Oakwood, Christie Bush of Seattle, Washington and Nicki Scott of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, cousins- Bob Corwin, Claude Corwin Sr. and Claude Corwin Jr. and special friend-Diana. Louise graduated from McArthur High School in Decatur. She worked for Zenith, Model Star Laundry, National Home Care and Bell Sport, before retiring. Her most prized love was her dog Burger. She loved taking him for car rides daily. She also enjoyed rummaging, NASCAR, scrapbooking and crocheting. She made afghans and booties for all of her friends. She was Aunt Weeze to all the kids and she always remembered everyones birthdays. A Celebration of the life of Myrtle Louise Weeze Butts will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor Joe Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mt. Zion, Illinois. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
