Myra Jones

Myra Jones, 87, of Noblesville, Indiana, formerly of Westville, passed away at 7:55 a.m. e.s.t. Saturday, May 26th, 2012 at Harbour Manor. Myra was born on December 18th, 1924, in Danville, the daughter of Fredrick and Anna (Johnson) Sneyd. She married Glenn Jones Jr. on February 25th, 1951 in Westville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 24th, 1996. She is survived by her daughter Glenda (Frank) Gerulski of Carmel, Indiana; three grandchildren- Kendra (Casey) McClure of Effingham, Allison and Austin Gerulski of Carmel, Indiana; and a great-grandson- Patrick McClure. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- Glenn David Jones and a daughter- Sharon Baker. Myra graduated from Westville High School and Gallagher Business College in Kankakee. Myra worked at Illinois Printing Co. and Danville Electric Co. She was a member of Danville United Church of Christ. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting and reading. A Celebration of the life of Myra Jones will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 28th, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration home, with Pastor Connie Moodie officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be to American Diabetes Association.
