Joseph ; Joe T. (Mr. Fat) Morgan, 39 of Danville, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on December 23, 1970 in Danville, the son of James T. and Janet L. (Hicks) Morgan. On July 29, 1991, Joe married Tawnya Terrell, his high school sweet heart and the love of his life., He is survived by his wife, Tawnya, his father, James, his mother, Janet, and his three children, Michael A (Dawn) Morgan of Oakwood, Joseph T. Morgan II, and Regina Morgan both of Danville. His granddaughter, Aussie Adam, two brothers, Jimmy (Amey) Morgan of Georgetown, David (Sandy) Morgan of Georgetown, his two grandmothers, Jean Hicks, and Ruby Morgan, both of Danville. His two nephews, Michael L. Puckett, Wyatt Morgan, his two nieces, Destiny Morgan, Courtney Morgan, numerous cousins, and two very special friends, Gary Tyrl of Danville, and Clint Roller of Sidell, all survive Joe. His granddaughter, Mazie Morgan, maternal grandfather, Carl Hicks, paternal grandfather, Edgar Morgan, and his uncle, Larry Hicks, preceded Joe in Death. Joe was a welding instructor at DACC. He enjoyed fishing, playing chess, and euchre. He had a talent for drawing, and working on cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, collecting knives and working out. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. A Celebration of the Life of Joseph Joe Morgan will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Bowman Avenue United Methodist Church in Danville. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8pm on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Per Joe and his familys wishes, cremation rites will be performed at Sunsets onsite crematory under the immediate direction of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home.
