Monte C. Knoblett

Terre Haute, Ind. - Monte C. Knoblett, 53, of Terre Haute, passed away at 4 p.m. EST Thursday, November 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1963 in Clinton, Indiana the son of Robert "Bob" E. and Carol E. (Spellman) Knoblett. Survivors include two sons, Chad (Fianc Allisha Morgan) Knoblett of West Terre Haute, Indiana and Clayton Knoblett of Terre Haute, Indiana; his mother, Carol E. Knoblett of Dana, Indiana; four granddaughters; one sister, Lisa (Phil) Gilldea of Buena Vista, Colorado; two brothers, Mike (Carrie) Knoblett of Attica, Indiana and Kevin (Krys) Knoblett of Le Sueur, Minnesota; several nieces, nephews and cousins and his many friends at "Twiggys" in Terre Haute, Indiana. Monte was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" E. Knoblett. Monte was currently employed for the past 10 years at GE Aviation in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a 1981 graduate of Champaign Central High School (Illinois). He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushrooming, listening to country music and riding his Harley.
