Molly Sheehan Frances M. Sheehan, 51, of Danville, passed away at her home with family at her side, at 2:30 pm on Thursday January 16. Molly was born March 9th, 1962 in Danville, the daughter of Daniel and Irene (Miller) Sheehan. Surviving is two daughters; Tyana Sheehan of Danville, and Anne Marie (Erik) Janis of Bloomington, two brothers; John (Jan) Sheehan of Garner NC, and Timothy Sheehan of Danville, two sisters; Kathy (Tom) Moony of Cary IL., Bridget (Jim) Holem of Danville, four grandchildren; Gabrielle, Haiden, Evan, Hadley Janis, many nieces and nephews, five life- long special friends; Kerry, Brenda, Susy, Susan, and Rhonda. Molly was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings Michael Sheehan, Danny Sheehan,and Margaret Sheehan-Mackiewicz. She worked at The Big Four, CSX Transportation, and Danville Mass Transit. Molly loved gardening, animals, and most recently genealogy. Molly was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be truly missed by all. Molly was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church, and Lincoln Park Historical District. The family wants to give a very special Thank You to Dr. Rowland, Carle Hospice, and Carle Oncology nurses. A Celebration of Mollys life will be held on Friday January 24th, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Pauls Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, A Life Celebration Home on Thursday 23rd, at 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Mollys Family asks that memorials be made to St. Pauls Catholic Church or Carle Hospice in her name.
