Minnie B. Johnson

Minnie B. Johnson, 57, passed away at Carle Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born the daughter of Reva Lister and Wilford Johnson on April 22, 1961. They precede her in death. Also preceding Minnie in death include two brothers, David Johnson and Terry Johnson; and two nephews, Richard Johnson Jr. and Ron Roberts. Minnie is survived by two sons, Aaron (Lisa) O'Banion and Andrew (Brandy) O'Banion; one daughter, Katie (Gary) Ritter, two brothers, Richard (Ladonna) Johnson and Wilford "Pete" Johnson; one sister, Dorie Benting; four grandchildren, Evelyn O'Banion, Jaxon Ritter, Andrew O'Banion II, and Jillien O'Banion; Boyfriend, Rocco Cardillo; special friends, Patsy Parsons and Tammy Cotten; and a dog, Daisy. Minnie enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, listening to music, being outside, and most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she will be missed dearly by them. A Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 06, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Pastor Ryan Harris. Burial will be in Allhands Cemetery in Kickapoo Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
