Melinda Mindy Ann Meinart, 47, of Danville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 21, 2009 at 2:35 am surrounded by family and friends. Mindy was born January 15, 1962 in Danville, Illinois to Wilbur Boss and Patricia Ramsey. She was joined in holy matrimony on August 25, 1980 to Paul Christopher Meinart at First Assembly of God Church in Danville. He survives along with two sons: Christopher Erik of Danville and Jared Paul of Charleston. Also a very special great nephew Blake Matthew whom they took to raise as their own. Other survivors include: three brothers, Larry Dale Ramsey of Washington State, Eric Ramsey of Georgetown, Robert Butch Max Anglemyer Jr. of Danville; three sisters, Denise Miller of Danville, Debra Ramsey of Milford and Deanna Sandoval of Texas, Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mindy was employed by Danville Township where she had worked for twenty years. She started her career with Danville Township in the Senior Transportation Department, with her last position being held as an administrative assistant for the Highway Department. Mindy cherished her family above all else. She enjoyed reminiscing about her time spent with good friends watching her two boys participate in athletics as they were growing up. She also enjoyed spending time with numerous special friends and co-workers whom she loved and cared for dearly. Her hobbies included taking meticulous care of her house, E-bay, fishing, rummage sales, mushroom hunting, flowers, and cooking. Mindy also enjoyed spoiling her two dogs Cookie and Elmo. She was always known for putting others before herself whether it is family, friends, or strangers. Mindy was a selfless giver, never expecting anything in return. She was preceded in death by her biological father Wilbur Boss Ramsey, her dad Robert Anglemyer Sr. and two brothers, Ronnie Eugene Ramsey and Randy Lee Ramsey. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Sunday afternoon at Crossroads Christian Church 3613 N. Vermilion St. A Celebration of Mindys Life will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 27, 2009 at the church with Miles Clark officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Memorials may be made in Mindys name to the New Horizons International Ministries P.O. Box 372, Zion, IL 60099.
