Millie Mullins

Millie Mae Mullins, 74, of Hegeler, passed away at 12:45pm, Monday, September 1, 2014, at her home. She was born on May 28, 1941, the daughter of Roy and Nanie {Rixie} Henson, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Wilbert Mullins Sr. on May 4, 1965, until his passing on February 17, 2009. She will be dearly missed by: her children, Wilbert Mullins Jr, Mike Mullins, & Debby (Phil) Fuller; her grandchildren, Jennifer Mullins, Melissa Mullins, James Mullins, Jeremy Mullins, Vicki Fuller, Philip Fuller, Michael Mullins, Scotty Mullins, Lily Mullins, Jaime Mullins, & Wayne Bishop; her 20 great grandchildren; her brother, Charlie Henson; and her sister, Lois Kight. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Henderson; and her brothers, Lee, Les, & Dallas Henson. Millie enjoyed making a home for her family. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Hammond, IN. She enjoyed camping, shopping, collecting wind chimes, & crocheting. She also enjoyed taking pictures and keeping them in albums. Most of all, she loved being with her family. A celebration of Millie Maes life will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, September 5, 2014, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor Matt Filicsky officiating. Visitation will be held 10am-12:00pm, Friday prior to her service. She will be laid to rest in Forest Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to American Diabetes Association.
