Mildred M. Heath

Mildred M. Heath, 75, of Danville, passed away at 7:25pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Mildred was born on June 19,1931 in Orlando, Fl. the daughter of Eddie and Ruby Myers Smith. She attended schools in Yeddo and Covington, In. On April 21, 1947 she was joined in marriage to Ralph L. Heath in Covington, In. with the Rev B.R. Mitton officiating. This year they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage. Later Mildred attended Indiana State University where she obtained her license to sell real estate in both Ill and In.. She worked for Art Fleming and later Fahey Real Estate. Mildred and Ralph have also owned and operated Heath Automotive for 39 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mildred is survived by her husband Ralph; sons, Eddie L. (Penny) Heath of Danville and Roger E. (Crystal) Heath of Georgetown: Grandchildren; Diana Blankenbeckler, Tracy (Rick) Messer, mark Heath, Amy (Pete) Saltraco, and Chazz Fuqua; great grandchildren, William Blankenbeckler, Nicole (Jeremy) Blankenbeckler Kiger, Michael Thornsbrough, Shane Heath, Jessica Sisney, Dayton Heath, Trevor, Micah and Derek Saltraco; and one great great granddaughter Kaydyn Lynn Marie Kiger; and a sister Mary Pearl (Robin) Fogleman She was preceded by her parents, a daughter Diana Lee Heath and brother Howard Smith. A celebration of Mildreds life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 17,2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating Rev. Jerry Short. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington. Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2007 from 4-8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes or 1st Church of the Nazarene, 2212 N.
