Mildred L. Edwards, 89, of Bismarck passed away at 4:00am Wednesday July 20, 2005 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1915 in Danville, the daughter of Benjamin and Elmira (Pritchard) Himmelright. Mildred married Harold J. Edwards March 3, 1936 in Danville. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2001.Survivors include five sons; Harold L. (Norma Jean) Edwards of Danville, Lowell R. Edwards of Houston, Texas, Jerry L. Edwards of Danville, Robert P. (Libby) Edwards of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Rex D. (Patti) Edwards of Danville; three daughters, Wanda L. (Jack) Dungan of Warsaw, Indiana, M. Gail (Vernon) Huber of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and Sharon L. (Roger) Detamore of Bismarck; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild; and one sister, Margaret L. Martin of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son Dale E. Edwards. Mildred was a housewife. In her earlier years she worked for Musebeck Shoe Factory and S.S. Kresge Co. She was a member of 1st Church of Christ of Bismarck and previously belonged to State Line Christian Church. She belonged to Tops 1568. Mildred enjoyed reading her Bible, crocheting, embroidering, sewing and painting pictures. She cherished her children and grandchildren.
