Mildred Kopp, 89, of Danville IL., passed away at 8:00 am on Monday March 11, 2013 at her residence in Danville. She was born on September 12, 1923 to Joseph and Blanche (Beckett) Brown in Indiana. She married Paul Kopp in 1988 and he preceded her in death in 2012. Mildred is survived by her daughter Dianne (Jim) Edington of Bismarck IL.; son-in-law Steve Faulkner; grandchildren Kimberly Edington, David (Ann) Edington, J.R. Faulkner; and great-grandson Lincoln James Edington. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter JoAnn Faulkner, sister Betty Brown and brother Joseph Brown. A graduate of Rossville High Mildred supported the war effort during WWII by working at a factory. She later completed beauty school and kept the women of Danville beautiful as a hair stylist. An accomplished seamstress Mildred enjoyed knitting, crocheting and tatting and was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Always up for an adventure she liked to travel, enjoyed playing cards at family reunions and took great pride in her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. As per her wishes Mildred is to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday March 15, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville with Father Nelson officiating and a private family burial at a later date in Rossville Cemetery in Rossville IL. A visitation will be held an hour prior from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Friday March 15, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
