Covington, Ind. -- Mildred E. "Millie" Woodrow, 84, of Covington, passed away at 5:45 a.m. EDT Monday (April 9, 2007) at the Waters of Covington. She was born August 18, 1922, in Covington, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert Earl and Mabel Ruth Jackson Kenny. She married Floyd W. Woodrow on July 2, 1939 in Covington, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2006. Survivors include: two daughters, Rita L.(Roger)Rennick and Lou Ann Plunkett both of Covington, Indiana; one son, Larry K. Woodrow of Harahan, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four sisters, Marie Allison, Pauline(Ogle)Snider, Nancy(Ray)McDaniel and Gretchen(Lloyd)Chambers all of Covington, Indiana; four brothers, Robert(Helen)Kenny of Tilton, Illinois; John Kenny of Champaign, Illinois; Charles(Emogene)Kenny of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Jack(Joan)Kenny of Decatur, Illinois. She was preceded in death by one sister, Marlis Davan. Millie hung wallpaper in the Covington area for several years. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Covington. Millie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, Covington, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Warren Allen and Pastor Troy Harkey; Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, April 11, 2007 and one hour prior to services at the First Baptist Church.
