Mikel L. Thompson

Brazil, Ind. - Mikel L. Thompson, 52, of Brazil passed away unexpectedly at 9:51 a.m. EDT Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born August 3, 1969 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the son Nancy (Vance) Sudduth and Milford L. Thompson.

Survivors include his children: Taylor Thompson of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Mikel L. Thompson of Russellville, Arkansas and Chase Spink of Brazil, Indiana; his mother: Nancy (Dean) Sudduth of Perrysville, Indiana; five sisters: Ruth Thompson of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Michelle (Bill) Jackman of Perrysville, Indiana; Stacy Redman and Chelsey Thompson both of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Keyshia Thomas of Oklahoma; two brothers: Rob Thompson of Waynetown, Indiana and Terry Thompson of Crawfordsville, Indiana; step sister: Amber (Bill) Carrigan of Fowler, Indiana; two step brothers: Aaron (Meredith) Sudduth of Greenwood, Indiana and Jeremy Akin of Lizton, Indiana; special friend: Sara Rabb of Brazil, Indiana, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father: Milford L. Thompson.

Mikel formerly worked at PPG in Brazil. He enjoyed raising horses, fishing and playing video games.

Services: 3 p.m. EDT Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Jack Bowling; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday, August 18, 2021 until time of services.
