Micheal Joseph Mahoney

Perrysville, Ind. -- Michael Joseph Mahoney, 75, of Perrysville, passed away at 6:20 a.m. EDT Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 13, 1936 in Georgetown, Illinois the son of John R. Mahoney and Dorothy Hogatt Mahoney Lennon. He married Marie Nagel on April 16, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. She survives. Other survivors include his children, John R.(Debbie)Mahoney and Patricia A. Mahoney both of Covington, Indiana; Kathleen(Greg)Bailey of Terre Haute, Indiana and Michael J.(Teresa)Mahoney, II of Veedersburg, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret A. Sams of Cayuga, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and stepfather, John Lennon. Michael worked at Hyster Company in Danville for 30 years. He was a member of the Cayuga Presbyterian Church. Michael enjoyed listening to music, golfing, fishing, camping and mushroom hunting. Most of all, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family.
