Michael Wayne Shelato, 25, of Danville left this world on August 30, 2021. He was born on August 22, 1996, the son of Timothy (Pattie Sidwell) Shelato.

Also surviving are three brothers, Timmy, Tanner, and Jesse Shelato; two sisters, Alyssa, and Rhiannon Shelato; two stepsisters, Carmiletta (Travis) Johnson, Tabitha Stark; stepbrother, Daniel (Rachel) Stark; grandma, Sue Clauson; three aunts, Becky Shelato, Cathy Waterstradt, Misty (Larry) Ciparro; special uncle, Ronnie (Jody) Clauson; special nephew and niece, Lucas and Lexi Shelato and special cousin, Brandon Brown. Cousins also include Angela, Tabbatha, Arron, Justin and many other first and second cousins, three additional nephews, and four nieces.

Michael is preceded in death by his two children, Logan Michael Shelato and Gabriella Rose Carson; grandpa, Michael T. Shelato; grandpa, Raymond Clauson; grandpa, Gordon "Buster" Ray; great grandma, Pearl 'Dolly' Ray; uncles, Michael Denis Shelato and Raymond Clauson Jr.; cousin, Dustin Harley Brown, and many other family members.

Along Michaels journey of life, he enjoyed time with friends and family, especially going to ball games with grandpa Butch. He attended Maranatha Baptist Church and dreamed of becoming a deacon one day. He graduated from Danville High School and sang and danced in choir for many years. Michael loved helping anyone he could and enjoyed the outdoors, video games and Pokmon.

Despite his faults, anyone who knew him could feel his kind and gentle nature.

A Celebration of Michaels Life will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm.
