Danville- Michael Waclaw, 60, of Danville passed way at 9:37 pm at Gardenview Manor in Danville, IL. Mike was born on July 28, 1955 in Danville, IL the son of Raymond and Barbara (Silverman) Waclaw. Survivors include his mother; Barbara Waclaw of Danville, IL one sister; Carla (Tim) Wheeler of Danville, IL one nephew; Bryan (Lindsay) Wheeler of Fithian, IL, three nieces; Kathryn (Mike) Bartenschlag of Danville, IL, Stacey (Carl) Fox of Bismarck, IL and Cindy Spencer. Mike was preceded in death by his father; Raymond and one brother; Tim Waclaw. Mike lived a simple life. He was kind, polite and respectful to everyone and was loved very much by his family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Transitions Hospice, a group of dedicated individuals who sit with the dying so that no one dies alone. A public Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Pastor James Blue. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Danville. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crosspoint Human Services in Danville, IL.
