Michael Frank Rudnicke, 59, of Bel Air, Maryland, formerly of Danville, passed away at 8:00 pm on Monday, September 25, 2006 at his home. He was born on November 10, 1946 in Chicago, IL the son of Edmund Robert and Dorothy Beata (Kolar) Rudnicki. He married Cheryl Andrews (formally of Danville) on June 15, 1983. She survives. Michael is also survived by one son: Brian Rudnicke of Rantoul, IL; one daughter: Julie Rudnicke of Chicago, IL; his mother: Dorothy Rudnicki of Danville; one brother: Edmund R. Rudnicke II of St. Joseph, IL. He was preceded in death by his father. Michael is a graduate of Danville High School and University of Illinois. Michael worked for District 118 schools as a PE teacher until 1985. After relocating to Florida Michael pursued a lifes passion and returned to school to get his certification to teach science. His lifes journey took him to Florida, North Carolina, and finally Maryland-all along continuing to teach in various settings. Other hobbies included reading and traveling. Michael was very fond of all types of animals and facilitated rehabilitation for many injured wildlife. But the most beloved animals of all are his dogs: Millie, Max and Mollie. They have brought him many years of happiness and comfort.
