Michael 'Mike' Wayne Fulwider

Danville Michael "Mike" Wayne Fulwider, 69, of Danville, IL passed away at 5:25 PM on April 28, 2023 at his home in Danville, IL.

Mike was born on May 18, 1953 the son of Donald and Beverly (Walls) Fulwider in Crawfordsville, IN. He married Amanda "Susie" Peevler on September 7, 1971 and she preceded in death on June 24, 2012. He later married Ruth Crowley on August 29, 2013 in Bradenton, FL and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Fulwider of Danville, IL, two children, Lenora (Victor) Couch of Shelbyville, IN and Christopher Fulwider of Terra Haute, IN, three step children, Brenda Wayman of Danville, IL, Toby Wayman of South Carolina and Randy Wayman of South Carolina, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three siblings, Diane (Buddy) Kennedy of Georgia, Mark Fulwider of Crawfordsville, IN and Matthew Minnick of Lafayette, IN, as well as his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Sherry Peevler of Danville, IL and brother-in-law, Ed "Buddy" Peevler.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Amanda "Susie" Fulwider.

Mike worked and KIK for many years. He was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan and enjoyed spending his free time camping, mushroom hunting, fishing, playing pool and B.I.N.G.O.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Nurses and staff at Carle Hospice for all of their assistance with Mike.

As per Mikes wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Mikes memory to the American Cancer Society.
