Michael 'Mike' Adams

Michael Lee Adams, 77, of Danville, Illinois passed January 3, 2021 at home.

He was born July 20, 1943 to Alfred T and Dorothy (Bowers) Adams, Sr. They preceded him in death. Also preceding him were son, Christopher Adams; sister, Linda Walsh; granddaughter, Alyssa Morgan; and grandson, Cory Richardson.

Mike was an inspector and quality control tester at Hyster for many years before retirement. He proudly served in the US Navy and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. He was the greatest husband, and no one could ask for a better daddy! There was nothing he did not know how to do or fix. He was smart, funny, and loved his family.

He is survived by spouse, Connie; sons, Michael Kohl, Robert Adams, Donnie Martin; daughters, Ashley (Mark) Peaslee, Michelle Winters, Linda Strawser, Felicity Adams, Beth Ray, Lori Ray; brothers, Alfred Adams, Jr., Robbin (Karen Adams); sisters, Sandra (Howard) Hanna; 36 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He will be laid to at Danville National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834.
