Michael L Roberts

Michael L. Roberts, 60, of Westville, went to be with the Lord at 9:53am, Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on November 1, 1951, in Danville, the son of Bill & Hazel Roberts and Carolyn Jo Camp, all of whom predeceased Michael. He was united in marriage to Susan Allen on May 12, 1979, in Danville. She will miss him dearly. He is also survived by: his sons, Jason Marcinkoski of South Carolina & John (Ashley) Roberts of Naples, FL; his daughter, Melissa (Michael) Courtwright of Elkins, WV; his grandchildren, Matthew Roberts, Liam Courtwright, Jackson Courtwright, & one on the way; his sister, Vickie (Ron) Price of Danville; his best friend, Kevin Fretty of Danville; his many nieces & nephews; and his loving extended family who surrounded him at his time of death, as well as, many friends that will miss him. Michael worked as a custodian for Westville School District. He loved listening to Blues Music and chatting with his internet friends. He also loved playing online poker. A Memorial Visitation will be held 4:00pm - 6:00pm, Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville. Memorial donations may be given in his name to American Cancer Society.
