Michael Joseph Cameron

Michael Joseph Cameron, 60, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on March 6, 1959 in Rapid City, SD to James Allen and Grace (Johnson) Cameron. Michael married Debi Smith on May 2, 1987 in Rantoul, IL.

Michael is survived by his wife; 2 sons; 6 grandchildren; sister Karen Cameron; 2 nieces; 2 great-nieces; and 2 great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Allan Cameron II.

Michael loved riding and customizing motorcycles and BMX bikes. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, IL, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL. Visitation will be held prior from 2pm-3pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a future date at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Rantoul, IL.
