Michael Jay Malsberry

Allerton-Michael Jay Malsberry 60, of Allerton IL. passed away on February 8, 2018 in Urbana, IL. Mike was born on March 24, 1957 in Muskegon, MI. the son of Charles and Patricia Malsberry. He is survived by his wife Jeannie, siblings; Patrick Malsberry, Peggy Jump, Pamela Gunterman, and Robin Malsberry, children; Cherie Apperson (Ryan Richardson) Michael Malsberry, Jr, Chad Malsberry, and Nichole (John) Abramson, grandchildren; Devin, Kacie, Kaleb, Taylor, Aly, and Lana. Mike proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, he loved taking motorcycle trips, hunting, Nascar, rooting for the Chicago Cubs, White Sox and Blackhawks he also enjoyed time spent traveling with family and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robin and son Chad. A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, February 13, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL. Visitation will be held prior from 10-12pm. Burial at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
