Michael James Moore

Danville - Michael James Moore, 61, of Danville, passed away on Monday February 8, 2016 at his home. He was born December 15, 1954 in Danville, the son of Harold & Mary (Butcher) Moore. Michael married Tamara Lee Clifton on July 1, 1979 in Danville. Michael is survived by his wife; daughters Miranda Moore & Jayme (Keith) Katzenberger; grandchildren Mina May, Sophia Michelle, Jordy Mason, & Addi Jo "Fred" and one brother Benny (Kay) Moore. Several nieces and nephews and many close friends including his best friend Marty Wells. He is preceded in death by his parents and friends Joshua Eastwood and Raymond Miller. Michael enjoyed working on anything with a motor. He also liked racing, fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, and mowing the grass. He was a member of the Fairmount Conservation Club. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Friday February 12, 2016 from 1-3pm with service to follow at 3pm. Private entombment will follow. Memorial donations can be made in Michael's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
